About Apple Blossom Retreat

Designed and furnished by Barbara Biron, owner of Decor8 Fine Furnishings, Apple Blossom Retreat offers a spacious Living Room with room to entertain, a quiet Reading Corner, and a Dining Room with seating for eight.  Facing Main Street are four large windows adorned with Hunter Douglas designers shades, offering the option of viewing the activity on the street or lowering the shades for complete privacy. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a breakfast counter with custom stools.  An original skylight in the hallway leads to two bedrooms, one bathroom, the master suite with a king bed and en suite bath, and a laundry room. The Retreat offers two entrances, one directly onto Main Street and a private rear entrance leading to reserved parking conveniently located at the rear of the building.

Historic Downtown Hendersonville, NC

Apple Blossom Retreat is located in the middle of Historic Downtown Hendersonville. The downtown is the heart of an economically and culturally vibrant mountain community. Take any day of the year to walk the 16 blocks that constitute Historic Downtown Hendersonville and you’ll find a place bustling with the activity of work and play. Cruise, on foot or in your car, the distinctive serpentine Main Street for an introduction to our mix of specialty shops, art galleries, funky-to-formal restaurants and vibrant entertainment venues all while enjoying free outdoor Wi-Fi. Whether it is serving as the core of the North Carolina Apple Festival over Labor Day weekend, kicking off spring with the Tulip Extravaganza and Garden Jubilee or highlighting the holidays with the Holiday Tree Lighting, downtown is the year round center for celebrating the community’s heritage and diversity.
